Server pace
Build, training and march times are authored at 1x and divided by the server speed. A 3x server builds three times faster than a 1x one.
First steps
- Follow the realm quests: they teach the village → resources → troops → hero loop.
- Novice protection: for the first hours no one can attack your village. Use that time to grow.
- A well-equipped hero is worth more than a large army. Open chests, forge at the Anvil and socket gems.
- Join a guild early: the Order Tree grants production bonuses and the guild faces the Colossus together.
- Scout before you attack. The report shows the garrison and keeps you from losing troops for nothing.
Frequently asked questions
What is Judgment of Shadows?
A multiplayer (MMO) medieval strategy game that runs in your browser. You build a village, train troops, recruit and equip heroes, join a guild and compete on a shared map with other players.
Is it free?
Yes. It is free to play; optional in-game purchases are available.
Do I need to download anything? Does it work on mobile?
No download needed: the game runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. If you like, you can install it as an app from the portal home page.
Which languages can I play in?
Portuguese and English. The language follows your browser and can be changed at any time.
Which race should I pick?
Humans are balanced and the best choice for beginners. Orcs attack and march faster, ideal for raiding and PvP. Chaos has the strongest troops per unit, but they are expensive and slow to train.
Can I be attacked right after I start?
No. At the start, novice protection blocks attacks on your village so you have time to grow.
Can I have more than one lord?
Each account holds a single lord per server. To play at a different pace, create your lord on another server.
What changes from one server to another?
Speed, region and world age. On a 3x server, building, training and marching are three times faster than on a 1x server.
