The Colossus

Guide · Guilds

The Colossus is the guild boss. Each guild faces its own: its HP is shared by the members, and every member's hits add up toward the same kill. The creature changes from one cycle to the next — dragon, lich, behemoth or hydra — and each has more or less HP.

It can be attacked in these windows: Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Brasília time). The screen is under More → War → The Colossus.

How to fight it

You don't fight the Colossus with an army: it's a duel between your hero and the boss, resolved instantly, with a replay to watch.

  • Pick any living hero who is at home (not on a march). They go in at full HP, and the duel doesn't hurt or kill the hero for real — the attempt just ends if they fall.
  • You get 5 attempts per day, with 5 minutes of rest between them. The counter resets at midnight (Brasília time).
  • Each attempt deals at most 10% of the Colossus's max HP. Anything beyond that doesn't count.
  • Fatigue: every time the same hero fights in the same cycle, they hit weaker. Rotating heroes pays off more than sticking to one — this is where the second and third heroes from your Hall of Heroes make a difference.
  • Every completed duel gives experience to the hero who fought.
  • The duel bonuses from the Order Tree (Guild Fury, Guild Vigor and Bloodthirst) also apply against the Colossus.

As it loses HP, the Colossus goes through phases. Wounded and enraged, it takes more damage; in the final stretch it becomes armored and takes less. That's the moment to rally the guild in chat.

Tiers

The guild climbs a ladder of tiers. Slaying the Colossus raises the next cycle by one tier; letting it escape at the end of the window drops one. Each tier has more HP, harder hits and bigger prizes. HP also grows with the number of active members, so large and small guilds face a similar challenge.

The leader and captains can summon again, for free, any tier up to the highest ever slain; above that, each tier costs Seals from the Treasury. Summoning while the Colossus is alive restarts the cycle at full HP, and the damage already dealt is lost.

Prizes

When the cycle closes — with a kill or with the escape at the end of the window — everyone who struck receives a single grade: the highest one their share of the total damage reached.

GradeMinimum damage share
Lavaquelojust take part
Combatant3%
Veteran8%
Endrezina18%
  • Prizes include Cash, gem dust, personal Seals for the Bazaar and relic fragments and shards for the Wolf set. What each grade pays at each tier is under Rewards by tier, on the Colossus screen.
  • Kill: bringing the Colossus down raises the grade of everyone who struck — the kill is what carries players with smaller heroes — and deposits Seals in the guild Treasury.
  • MVP: when there's a kill, whoever dealt the most damage in the cycle takes the MVP prize, the event's biggest, instead of a grade.

Colossus Executioner

The MVP of a cycle with a kill earns the Colossus Executioner medal, shown next to their name in chat and on their portal profile. They keep it until the guild slays the boss again with a different MVP. Chat only has room for one medal at a time: if you also hold a Guild War medal, only the Guild War one shows next to your name. On the portal profile, both appear.

Don't confuse it with the Endrezina grade: the grade belongs to anyone who passes that damage share; the medal is the MVP's alone.

Colossus Tonic

The Colossus Tonic removes one use of fatigue from a hero in the current cycle — it gives your best hero their breath back. It's forged at the Relic Workshop with shards and can only be used on the Colossus screen: once per cycle, and only on a hero who has already fought in that cycle.
