Guilds: the basics

Guide · Guilds

A guild brings together lords who play as a team: they share a Treasury, the bonuses of the Order Tree, the oases on the map and the group events. You can only be in one guild at a time. On mobile, it lives under More → Guild.

Founding or joining

  • Find lists the guilds on the server, with search by name or tag. Pick one with a free slot and tap Request to join. A leader or captain accepts or declines, and you can withdraw the request while it is pending.
  • Found asks for a name (unique on the server), an optional tag and a short description. You become the leader. If the server charges a founding cost, the price shows on the form before you confirm.

The name and tag can't be changed later: only the description can be edited by the leader.

A new guild holds 30 members. Raising the guild's level opens more slots, up to 50 at the top level — see Order Tree.

  • The leader promotes members to captain and demotes captains. Whoever hands over leadership becomes a captain.
  • Missing leader: after 14 days without activity, leadership passes on its own to the guild's longest-serving captain — or, with no captains, to the longest-serving member. The old leader becomes a member.

Guild chat

The chat has a Guild channel, next to the realm channel, that only members can read. You can show an item or a hero right in the conversation. That's where you agree on who hits the Colossus, who holds the oasis and who needs reinforcements.

Leaving, expelling and disbanding

  • Any member can leave whenever they want. The leader can only leave after handing over leadership — or, if they're alone, leaving disbands the guild.
  • Whoever leaves or is expelled waits 6 hours before joining or founding another guild. This applies to every member when the guild is disbanded.
  • When you leave, you lose your Bazaar Seal balance, and what you donated stays with the guild. Reinforcements between you and your allies return at once, in both directions.
  • While the guild is locked by a Guild War event, nobody new can join. Leaving is still allowed.

Why join early

  • Bonuses for everyone: every path bought in the Order Tree applies to all members — production, defense at home, protection from plunder and more.
  • Time in the guild counts: reinforcing allies requires a few days in your current guild. That clock starts on your first day there and doesn't reset if you leave and come back to the same guild.
  • Group events: The Colossus, Guild War and Guild oases belong to the guild, and the Bazaar only sells to members.
  • Peace between allies: members of the same guild can't attack each other.
  • Donating also protects: donated resources go to the Guild Warehouse, which can't be plundered.
