Oases are outposts scattered across the map. The guild that conquers one gets its bonus for every member, can station troops there and earns relics for holding it. Only guild members can fight over oases.
They open on day 14 of the season. Before that, they show on the map as sealed.
The bonuses
Each oasis has a fixed bonus, visible on its panel before you attack. The higher the tier, the stronger the garrison and the better the bonus. Tier 3 oases are rare.
| Tier | Possible bonuses |
|---|---|
| 1 | Veins (wood, stone, iron or gold), Desert Chronicles, Dune Spoils |
| 2 | Deep Veins, Mixed Veins, Swift Barracks, Desert Tithe, Sand Wall |
| 3 | Desert Roads, Oasis Seals, Royal Caravan |
- Veins, Deep Veins and Mixed Veins raise production of one or two resources.
- Swift Barracks makes troops train faster.
- Desert Chronicles gives more hero experience; Dune Spoils, Desert Tithe and Royal Caravan increase what PvE yields in resources or coins.
- Sand Wall strengthens the garrison's defense in your villages — not in the oasis.
- Desert Roads shortens marches against PvE and oases, and a little less against players. It doesn't speed up reinforcements.
- Oasis Seals increases the Seals from donations and event prizes.
The bonus applies to every member, whether or not they have troops at the oasis, and stacks with the Order Tree.
Conquering
- Attack the oasis with a normal attack march, leaving your village with a hero and troops. Scouting and sieges don't work.
- To conquer, you need to win and bring the defense down to 15% or less. A crushing victory takes it in one go; otherwise the defense stays bled until it regenerates, and attacks from the whole guild add up. The panel shows how long it takes to recover fully.
- The garrison has no race: it's the same for every attacker.
- Attacking an oasis yields no plunder, but it gives the hero experience.
At a neutral oasis, the desert garrison defends. At another guild's oasis, the fortification (which comes back full for whoever conquers it) and the troops stationed by the owners defend together.
Holding
- The bonus lasts 7 days from the conquest. After that the oasis goes dormant: it stays with the guild while troops are stationed there, but with no bonus. With no troops, it turns neutral again.
- You can't renew the bonus by attacking your own oasis. To get it again you have to reconquer — and a guild that lets go of an oasis (abandoning it or letting it empty out) has to wait a while before it can retake it. Another guild can take it right away.
- A guild can hold up to 5 oases, but only 5 count toward the bonus at the same time (higher tier first), and copies of the same bonus are limited. A guild can make up to 6 conquests per week.
- The leader or a captain can abandon an oasis once all troops have been recalled.
Stationed troops
- Any member can station troops at a guild oasis. The capacity per oasis shows on its panel and grows with the Outpost path of the tree.
- Stationed troops defend the oasis and can set out from it to attack. March of the Order speeds up the trip to the oasis.
- To recall them, the Residence of the home village needs room.
- If you leave the guild, your troops at the oasis become orphaned: they still defend, but can't attack. You have 1 day to recall them from the oasis panel on the map, which shows the time left — and orphaned troops come back even with a full Residence. After the deadline they scatter and only 50% of their training cost comes back.
- When an enemy march approaches a guild oasis, the whole guild is warned.
Relics
Oases pay fragments and shards for the Scorpion set:
- Conquest: whoever dealt at least 3% of the conquest's damage receives fragments; the march that completes the conquest gets an extra one.
- Holding: every 1 day, whoever has had troops stationed for at least 12 hours at an oasis that counts toward the bonus receives fragments and shards — while the bonus is active.
- Defense: whoever has troops at the oasis earns shards when the guild holds off an attack from another guild.
All of this respects the account's weekly relic cap.
