Guide · Heroes

Two equipment sets grant a bonus when one hero wears several pieces of the same set:

  • Wolf Set — offensive: Main Weapon, Helm, Chest, Right Glove, Boots and Cloak.
  • Scorpion Set — the defensive mirror: Off-hand, Left Glove, Belt, Necklace, Ring and Mount.

The two use different slots, so one hero can wear both complete sets at the same time.

Piece bonuses

The bonus grows at 2, 4 and 6 pieces of the same set. Each set's page shows the numbers.

The bonus is multiplied by the lowest-rarity piece of the set the hero is wearing: common pieces give only a fraction, epic pieces give the full value and legendary pieces give more than that. One weak piece drags the whole set down.

The set keystone

With all six pieces worn and every one Epic or Legendary, the set activates a keystone: the Wolf grants King's Breath and the Scorpion grants Bulwark Thorns.

A hero has a limited number of active keystones (1), and that slot is shared with gems. A socketed keystone gem takes priority, and the keystones from both sets compete for the same slot (see Gems).

Fragments and the choice chest

The sets' Epic and Legendary pieces are earned with fragments: Wolf Fragment (epic), Ancestral Wolf Fragment (legendary) and their Scorpion counterparts.

  1. Gather fragments of the same set and rarity. Consumables, in the Armory, shows how many you still need.
  2. Use Combine into Chest to turn them into a set chest.
  3. When you open the chest, you see three pieces of that set and rarity. Pick one; the other two vanish.

Only one choice can be pending at a time: settle the current one before opening another chest.

Where they drop

  • Wolf: Colossus rewards (the better your grade, the more fragments), Guild War matches and the Guild Shop.
  • Scorpion: conquering and holding guild oases, and higher-difficulty dungeons and forts on the map.
  • Relic Shards: the Colossus, the Guild War, holding and defending oases, and map targets.

Weekly cap

Fragments and shards earned from battles and events have a weekly cap per account: 12 epic fragments, 4 legendary ones and 60 shards. The week resets on Monday at midnight, Brasília time. Anything over the cap doesn't come in, and the feed tells you. Fragments bought in the Guild Shop don't count toward the cap.

Shards and the Workshop

Shards are the material of the Relic Workshop, also under Consumables. There you can:

  • Forge convenience consumables: Oasis Balm (heals your hero), Caravan Provisions (faster marches against map targets and oases), Crypt Torch (more finds in dungeons and forts), Dune Salt (more hero cargo in PvE), Anvil Coal (your next Common Reforge costs no essence) and Colossus Tonic (removes hero fatigue at the Colossus). Each recipe has a forge limit, shown in the Workshop.
  • Reconstitute an epic fragment of the set you choose by trading in shards. It's the way forward for players who spend more time on the map than in their guild, and it also counts toward the weekly cap.
