# Guilds: the basics

> How to found or join a guild, what each rank can do, the chat, leaving and expelling — and why it pays to join early.

Guilds · https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/guildas-basico?lang=en

A **guild** brings together lords who play as a team: they share a Treasury, the bonuses of the Order Tree, the oases on the map and the group events. You can only be in one guild at a time. On mobile, it lives under **More → Guild**.

# Founding or joining

- **Find** lists the guilds on the server, with search by name or tag. Pick one with a free slot and tap **Request to join**. A leader or captain accepts or declines, and you can withdraw the request while it is pending.
- **Found** asks for a name (unique on the server), an optional tag and a short description. You become the **leader**. If the server charges a founding cost, the price shows on the form before you confirm.

The name and tag can't be changed later: only the description can be edited by the leader.

A new guild holds **30 members**. Raising the guild's level opens more slots, up to **50** at the top level — see [Order Tree](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/arvore-da-ordem?lang=en).

# Ranks

| Action | Leader | Captain | Member |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accept or decline requests | yes | yes | no |
| Expel | yes | members only | no |
| Invest the Treasury (tree and level) | yes | yes | no |
| Promote, demote, hand over leadership, disband | yes | no | no |
| Donate, buy at the Bazaar, join the events | yes | yes | yes |

- The leader promotes members to captain and demotes captains. Whoever hands over leadership becomes a captain.
- **Missing leader:** after **14 days** without activity, leadership passes on its own to the guild's longest-serving captain — or, with no captains, to the longest-serving member. The old leader becomes a member.

# Guild chat

The chat has a **Guild** channel, next to the realm channel, that only members can read. You can show an item or a hero right in the conversation. That's where you agree on who hits the Colossus, who holds the oasis and who needs reinforcements.

# Leaving, expelling and disbanding

- Any member can leave whenever they want. The **leader** can only leave after handing over leadership — or, if they're alone, leaving disbands the guild.
- Whoever leaves or is expelled waits **6 hours** before joining or founding another guild. This applies to every member when the guild is disbanded.
- When you leave, you **lose your Bazaar Seal balance**, and what you donated stays with the guild. Reinforcements between you and your allies return at once, in both directions.
- While the guild is locked by a Guild War event, nobody new can join. Leaving is still allowed.

# Why join early

- **Bonuses for everyone:** every path bought in the Order Tree applies to all members — production, defense at home, protection from plunder and more.
- **Time in the guild counts:** [reinforcing allies](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/reforcos-de-guilda?lang=en) requires a few days in your current guild. That clock starts on your first day there and doesn't reset if you leave and come back to the same guild.
- **Group events:** [The Colossus](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/colosso?lang=en), [Guild War](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/guerra-de-guildas?lang=en) and [Guild oases](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/oasis-de-guilda?lang=en) belong to the guild, and the [Bazaar](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/loja-da-guilda?lang=en) only sells to members.
- **Peace between allies:** members of the same guild can't attack each other.
- **Donating also protects:** donated resources go to the Guild Warehouse, which can't be plundered.
