Playing Judgment of Shadows is free. **Cash** (💎) is the realm's premium currency: it buys shortcuts and better odds, but you can earn cash by playing, and everything it buys has a slower path without it.

# How to get cash

**By playing:**

- every account starts with a little cash;
- several Journey quests and every weekly quest pay cash;
- Achievement milestones pay cash;
- the Daily Login Reward includes cash;
- quest activity chests can pay out cash;
- promo codes can bring cash.

The details are in [Quests and achievements](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/missoes-e-conquistas?lang=en).

**By buying:** at the **Royal Merchant**'s Shop, in the **Cash** category, you pick a pack; when there's a bonus, it shows on the pack itself. Payment goes through Mercado Pago, in Brazilian reais, by PIX or card.

There's a **daily limit**: at most **12,000** purchased cash reaches your balance per day, per account. Anything above that becomes **pending balance** and is released automatically, day by day, until it's all in — within the season: pending cash not yet released when the season ends is lost. The screen shows your balance, what's pending and how much came in today.

# What to spend it on

- **Chests**: the Armory Vault (equipment) and the Arcane Vault (gems). The screen shows the detailed odds and a meter that rises with each opening and, at the top, guarantees a high-rarity prize.
- **Omens**: card decks, when Omens are enabled on the server.
- **Construction**: speed up or finish the current build right away.
- **Hall of Heroes**: the Call, which refreshes the heroes available to recruit at the [Hall of Heroes](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/construcoes/salao-herois?lang=en).
- **Peace Pact**: protection charges for your whole account — see [Novice protection](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/protecao-de-novato?lang=en).
- **Merchant's Exchange**, in the Market: converts resources from your warehouse on the spot, charging cash per exchange and keeping part of the value.
- Shop items priced in cash, such as the cash healing potion.

# What the Merchant sells

The Royal Merchant's Shop bills itself as "convenience, never war power", and the rule holds: **no troops and no direct troop bonuses**. What it sells:

- **Equipment showcase**: pieces that rotate from time to time, plus a few epics each week. They're the same items that drop from chests and the map, with their stats shown before you buy — no roulette.
- **Category chests**: you pick the type of piece, with a guaranteed epic and a legendary chance shown on the card.
- **Potions** that restore part of a hero's health, priced in silver or cash.
- **Peace Pact**, in charges.

Every offer has limited stock and its price on the card; once it sells out, wait for the next showcase rotation.

# Promo codes

Got a code? Redeem it under **More → System**, in the **Promo code** field.

- Each code works **once per account**.
- A code may have a deadline, a redemption limit and conditions — for example, new accounts only, a specific race or guild members. The refusal message tells you which rule stopped it.
- The reward can include coins, resources, cash, chests and potions. Chests go to your bag sealed.
- Capitals, spaces and hyphens don't matter when you type it.

# Purchase history

- **In the game**: Shop → Cash → **Previous purchases**.
- **On the portal**: **Account** page → **Recent purchases**, with date, pack, amount, cash and status (pending, approved, declined, refunded or disputed), plus your total spent.

# Before you buy

Cash is valid **for the season you're in**. When the season ends, the world starts over from scratch and neither your balance nor your **pending** cash carries over to the next one — see [Servers and seasons](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/servidores-e-temporadas?lang=en). Near the end of a season, a pack larger than the daily limit may not finish coming in: count the days left × 12,000 before you buy.
