# Attack

Gem · Offensive · https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/gemas/ataque?lang=en

Minimum Forge: from this level on the effect comes from the gem chest, PvE drops and cutting. Above the active limit the strongest gems count; the rest stay socketed with no effect.

- Domain: Offensive
- Class: Combat
- Socket: Fury (Main Weapon, Off-hand, Right Glove, Left Glove) or Prismatic
- Prismatic socket: always on Necklace, Ring; on other pieces the last socket may roll prismatic: Epic 10% · Legendary 35%
- Minimum Forge: none (available from the start)
- Active limit: 30 combat gems per hero
- Fusion, cutting and chest: [Gems](https://jds-game.com.br/portal/wiki/guia/gemas?lang=en)

#### What it does

Raises the hero’s attack by a percentage — the title’s attack at its current level plus equipment. Stacks with the set bonus.

#### Where it works

Battle is every march with a hero (PvE, PvP and oases), resolved at once by the strength of both sides. Duels are blow by blow.

| Mode | Effect |
|---|---|
| Battle | More hero attack in the fight. |
| GvG duel | More damage on every blow. |
| Colossus | More damage on every blow against the Colossus. |

#### Value per tier

Value of each attribute on the gem. On a 2-attribute gem each one is worth less than alone; it appears from Tier III (from the gem chest, with the Forge at level 6) and only fits a Prismatic socket.

| Tier | 1 attribute | 2 attributes |
|---|---|---|
| Tier I | +1.5% | — |
| Tier II | +3% | — |
| Tier III | +6% | +2.4% |
| Tier IV | +11% | +4.4% |
| Tier V | +19% | +7.6% |
| Tier VI | +32% | +12.8% |

#### Caps

The gem cap applies to the sum of the hero’s active gems; past the start of diminishing returns, each point is worth less.

- Gem cap: 80%
- Diminishing returns: above 48%, each point is worth 50%
